Jonathon Pleat graduated, with first class honours, from the University of Oxford in 1995 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. His extensive post-graduate experience in Plastic Surgery has been gained in the UK, South Africa, Taiwan, Australia and the United States.
Jonathon is Director of Research for the burns and wound healing charity Restore. He works as an NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in Burn care and general plastic surgery where he has special interests in Skin Cancer and Scarring. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (BAPRAS), The British and the European Burns Associations and The British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
He has undertaken specialist training in Aesthetic Surgery in East Grinstead in the UK and Cosmetic Dermatology in both the UK and Canada. Jonathon has a passionate interest in finding effective treatments for scarring. He brings many skills to both NHS and Private Patients at Bristol Plastic Surgery at 58 Queen Square Bristol.
